Indonesia's finance ministry sees inflation in February at a maximum 0.5 percent month-on-month, an official said on Wednesday.
Inflation in January was 0.89 percent month-on-month, higher than a market forecast of 0.65 percent as food costs climbed, leading the central bank to hike its benchmark interest rate to address worries over growing price pressures.
The official did not say why inflation would slow, but the government has previously said it expects food prices to cool in coming months after the start of the local rice harvest. Source: Reuters
