Rekomendasi Beberapa Sekuritas, 6 Desember 2010

3. Woori Korindo Securities

Rekomendasi HD Capital, 6 Desember 2010

Untuk perdagangan Senin, 6 Desember 2010, HD Capital merekomendasikan empat saham pilihannya untuk dibeli, yakni Bank Bukopin (BBKP), Timah (TINS), Astra International (ASII), dan Bumi Resources (BUMI).

BUY: (BBKP, TINS,ASII, BUMI)

  • Entry: (1) Rp 640, Entry (2) Rp 630, Cut loss point: Rp 610

2.   Tambang Timah (TINS) (BUY): (Target: Rp 3.050) (Close 03/12 Rp 2.825)
  • Entry (1) Rp 2.800, (2) Rp 2.725, Cut loss point: Rp 2.650

3.   Astra International (ASII) (BUY): (Target: Rp 56.000) (close 03/12 Rp 52.700)
  • Entry: (1) Rp 52.500, Entry: (2) 51.500, Cut loss point: Rp 49.500

4.    BUMI Resources (BUMI): (BUY) (Target: Rp 3.150) (close 03/12 Rp 2.975)
  • Entry: (1) Rp 2.900, Entry (2) Rp 2.800, Cut loss point: Rp 2.700

Indonesia's Bapepam extends deadline for Maybank to sell BII stake

Indonesian market regulator Bapepam has extended the deadline for Malaysia's Maybank to sell down its stake in Pt Bank Internasional Indonesia to June 1 next year.

Maybank, Malaysia's largest lender, said it could request for a further extension middle of next year if the sell down results in a potential loss of 10 percent of BII's original acquisition value.
The Malaysian bank paid over $2 billion to take over the Indonesian lender, a move that analysts had criticised as being too pricey.Source: Reuters

Indonesia's Tudung to sell 30 pct stake in GarudaFood-sources

* Aims to raise $300 mln, values firm at $1 bln - sources
 * Tudung says hired Barclays as advisor for the sale

Indonesia's consumer-focused Tudung Group plans to raise about $300 million by selling up to a 30 percent stake in its food firm GarudaFood early next year, as investors look to snap up Indonesian consumer-related assets, four sources said on Friday.

The sale is attracting interest from private equity firms and would follow several consumer-related deals in Indonesia this year, as domestic demand from a youthful 240 million population drives growth in Southeast Asia's biggest economy.

"Tudung is looking to unlock the value of GarudaFood by working with a strategic partner via a stake sale," said one of the sources, adding that buyout funds including Carlyle Group were among the potential interested bidders.

The sources, with direct knowledge of the deal, declined to be identified because the sale was not public. A Tudung Group spokeswoman confirmed a stake sale was being planned and that it has hired Barclays Capital to run the sale.

Tudung, an investment holding group controlled by the family of founder Darmo Putro, has business interests in food and the beverage industry in Indonesia and China.

Its GarudaFood unit, valued at about $1 billion, sells instant foods, peanuts and other snacks globally.  "Private-equity firms will likely become the potential
buyers as the company plans to increase GarudaFood's value before it finally goes public," said another of the sources.

Another big consumer-related asset sale is ongoing with Lippo Group's Matahari selling Hypermart, Indonesia's second-biggest hypermarket chain after PT Carrefour Indonesia, as it looks to raise about $1 billion.

Wal-Mart Stores Inc , the world's top retailer, French's Casino Guichard-Perrachon SA and South Korea's Lotte Shopping Co Ltd are among short-listed parties asked to submit next-round bids next month, sources told Reuters last month.

Earlier this year Matahari agreed to sell a 90.76 percent stake in retail unit Matahari Department Store to a joint venture with private equity group CVC Partners for $770 million. Source: Reuters

Hartono Brothers Stay Atop Forbes Indonesia’s 40 Richest List

R. Budi and Michael Hartono took top spot on Forbes Asia’s 40 richest Indonesians list for the second straight year with combined wealth of $11 billion, up from $7 billion in 2009, the magazine reported in its December issue.

The brothers derive most of their wealth from holdings in PT Bank Central Asia, Indonesia’s biggest by market value, and own clove-cigarette maker Djarum and palm-oil interests. They cap a list of billionaires and millionaires whose wealth has grown to $71 billion this year from $42 billion last year, Forbes said.

Susilo Wonowidjojo, president of PT Gudang Garam, the Indonesian cigarette maker founded by his father, came in second with $8 billion, Forbes reported.

Eka Tjipta, whose family owns palm-oil producer Golden Agri-Resources Ltd., is No. 3 on the list with $6 billion, up from $3.6 billion in 2009, Forbes said. Martua Sitorus, chief operating officer of Wilmar International Ltd., the world’s biggest palm-oil trader, is in fourth place with $3.2 billion compared with $3 billion last year.

Anthoni Salim, head of the Salim Group, came in fifth with $3 billion. Salim is chairman of First Pacific Co. Ltd., which in October raised $700 million in an initial public offering for PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur, the world’s biggest instant- noodle maker.Source: Bloomberg

Matahari Says Four Retailers Interested in Acquiring Control

PT Matahari Putra Prima, Indonesia’s second-biggest hypermarket operator by stores, said four retailers, including South Korea’s biggest, are interested in acquiring a controlling stake. Matahari shares rose 9.5 percent.

Bank of America Corp.’s Merrill Lynch unit is facilitating discussions with the companies that may “explore the modes of investment” that may include a stake sale, Matahari said in an e-mailed statement. Matahari jumped 150 rupiah to 1,730 rupiah as of 9:36 a.m. Jakarta time, set for the highest close since its trading debut December 1992.

South Korea’s Lotte Shopping Co. is one of the four retailers that may invest in Matahari, according to the statement, which didn’t identify the other three suitors. Wal- Mart Stores Inc. and French retailer Casino Guichard- Perrachon SA are among the companies that have looked at the assets, people familiar with the deal said last month.

A purchase would give the buyer control over Matahari’s 51 hypermarkets, 25 supermarkets and 53 pharmacy outlets operating in an economy forecast to expand 6 percent this year. The hypermarket business has annual sales of about $1 billion that will probably grow 22 percent this year, the statement said. Domestic consumption accounts for about two- thirds of the Indonesian economy, the biggest in Southeast Asia.

Today’s gain boosts Matahari’s climb in Jakarta trading this year to 97 percent, giving it a market value of about $1 billion.

Expansion Plans
The retailer, founded in 1958, also has 90 family entertainment centers and 18 bookstores as well as a strategic alliance operating 92 department stores in more than 50 cities across Indonesia, according to its statement.

It plans to open at least 13 hypermarkets next year and 80 outlets over the next five years, Matahari said.

The possible investors “highlighted potential for enhancing and expanding the food business with all non-related assets and liabilities being excluded,” Matahari said.

Lotte Group, the parent of Lotte Shopping, has 21 outlets, Tong Yang Securities Inc. said in a Nov. 4 report. Acquiring a controlling stake or just the stores would let the South Korean company overtake Carrefour as the largest hypermarket operator in the Southeast Asian nation, the brokerage said.

Carrefour, the world’s second-biggest retailer, in June opened its 64th hypermarket in Indonesia where it also has at least 16 supermarkets, according to its website. The French retailer, which entered Asia in 1989 with a hypermarket in Taiwan, opened its first store in Jakarta in 1998.

Carlyle, Dairy Farm
Lotte’s Hwang Kag Gyu, executive vice president of international and new business planning, said Nov. 30 it will make a final offer for Matahari’s hypermarkets. The deadline for final bids is likely to be delayed from an original schedule of early December, he said.

Carlyle Group and Hong Kong’s Dairy Farm International Holdings Ltd. had also looked at the Indonesian retailer’s assets, three people familiar with the process said last month.

Lotte Shopping, which said Nov. 12 it had submitted a letter of intent to buy Matahari’s hypermarket business, has spent about $1.5 billion on four acquisitions this year, according to Bloomberg data.

Units of Seoul-based Lotte, whose assets include petrochemical operations, are expanding in China, Vietnam, Indonesia and Russia to tap faster growth and rising affluence in developing markets.

Lotte Expansion
Lotte Group seeks acquisitions in China and Southeast Asia as sales overseas in the next decade are likely to expand two to three times faster than in its domestic market, said Hwang, who spends about a third of his time abroad.

Matahari said in October it hired Merrill Lynch to analyze its business and follow up on interest by companies outside Indonesia for an investment or partnership. The company sold control of its department-store arm to a unit of CVC Capital Partners Ltd. for 7.2 trillion rupiah ($798 million) in January.

Casino and Lotte were considering a binding offer for the food-retailing business of Matahari after proceeding to the second round of the auction, two people with knowledge of the deal said last month.

Casino last month agreed to buy Carrefour’s business in Thailand for 868 million euros ($1.14 billion).Source: Bloomberg

Rekomendasi Beberapa Sekuritas, 3 Desember 2010

Berikut rekomendasi empat sekuritas ternama untuk perdagangan Jumat, 3 Desember 2010, termasuk saham-saham yang patut dicermati para investor.

1. E-Trading Securities

3. Kresna Securities
IHSG kembali melanjutkan penguatan seiring membaiknya sentimen global.
